Managing Director Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling Camlin Rails advanced monitoring solutions to clients within global rail sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's products and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. From time to time this role will involve travel to support customer meetings, conferences, trade events and exhibitions. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development:

Support the tender bid process including understanding, reviewing and reporting out commercial and technical requirements to key stakeholders. This will involve close collaboration and communication with sales, product management and engineering teams. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the global rail industry. Support the implementation and execution of marketing and sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Attend customer meetings, exhibitions, trade shows which will require a willingness to travel, globally.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Provide ongoing support and training to customers to ensure successful product implementation and satisfaction.

Technical Expertise:

Maintain a deep understanding of Camlin Rails products and digital services. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the rail sector. Strong understanding of system engineering and asset monitoring. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events. Full driving license. Experience in machine vision or photography background. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Railway experience.
