Technical Sales Engineer
with experience in adhesive applications, especially in FMCG manufacturing. You’ll work with customers to ensure smooth operations, improve adhesive use, and provide after-sales support. Key Responsibilities: Building strong relationships with customers Running product trials and audits Giving technical advice and support Helping customers get the most out of our products After-Sales Parts and Consumables:
Quote and supply the right hot melt consumable parts. Keep product info updated on the company website and drive after-sales activities, including tools like cleaners and shadowboards. Health Checks and Customer Audits:
Visit customer sites for health checks and line audits. Collect data (e.g., temperatures, pressures) and suggest improvements. Prepare reports and present action plans to clients. Product Trials:
Work with the FMCG Technical Account Manager (TAM) to run product trials for potential clients. Ensure trials run smoothly and deliver the best results. Must-Have Requirements: GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (A-C). 3+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing environments, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing. Hands-on experience working with hot melt adhesives. Intrinsic knowledge of hot melt application equipment such as
Nordson ,
Valco ,
ITW , etc. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Science qualifications (A-Level or higher). Seniority level
