The Role As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for developing and nurturing customer accounts. Clear communication and careful organisation will be critical to your success. This role will be based at our Head Office in Norwich, with some time spent visiting customers and prospects each week. Main Objectives: Identifying and winning new customers Expanding the API product range with existing accounts Providing technical support to our customers Providing technical content for marketing Main Requirements: Networking Business to business sales of technical products and solutions Desktop research of prospects Visits to exhibitions and conferences Phone and video conferencing and face-to-face meetings Sales Management Developing and managing the sales pipeline Qualifying and nurturing leads Preparing and submitting proposals Negotiating with stakeholders Providing Technical Support Ability to understand technical products and applications Clear communication of technical concepts to end-users and stakeholders Review of product specifications Sales Materials Produce technical sales materials including presentations, brochures, and websites with the support of the wider Sales and Marketing Department. Essential Skills and Experience: Technical experience or qualification in mechanical engineering or similar Ability to travel internationally Accuracy of work and attention to detail Excellent fluency in English, written and verbal Good computer literacy Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience in Steelmaking / Rolling or Manufacturing Experience in B2B sales Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Fluency in another language is a bonus Experience using CRM software Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent Pay:
