You will like The Technical Sales Manager Sensors job itself where you will be responsible for the business development of Sensor products from technical design to commercial account management, having a solution approach with customers. To develop a business strategy to continuously develop a sustainable new demand creation funnel and convert current opportunities to achieve the Sales and Margin budgets and KPI targets. To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers. To develop an optimal solution for customers. More specifically: Proactively identify new customers and target markets to grow and convert a sustainable demand creation funnel. Follow-up and develop business lead with new and existing customers. Maintain customer profile forms to ensure business strategies are clearly visible. Ensure close working relationships with key suppliers and conduct monthly reviews of key projects. Achievement of monthly and annual sales/margin targets and personal objectives. Maintain a good understanding of franchised products and services and their potential applications and markets. Attend regular meetings with Management to discuss progress to sales forecasts and activities to ensure objectives are being met. Present and demonstrate to customers the benefits of products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc. Successfully negotiate, implement, and manage contracts & win orders to meet the customer & company expectations. Provide detailed feedback and reports on sales activities to Line Manager. Timely management of any administrative duties including: Planning & Organising work schedule and setup of appointments/visits. Updating and maintaining database records. Forecasting, monitoring, and evaluating sales figures for the region. Ensure that all activities/tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy and the Quality / ISO system. You will have To be successful as Technical Sales Manager Sensors, you will have a healthy mix of the following: Engineering / Electronics Degree or equivalent experience Supporting designs with a technical sales background of Sensors into markets such as Industrial, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Consumer, Precision Monitoring, Military. Ability to cross-sell with similar technologies into target sensor customers, such as Communication products. Successful track record in technical sales positions Preferred 3 years minimum experience selling Sensor products, components, and modules. Electronics Industry experience either with Distribution or OEMs with good business acumen. Knowledge of customer base, markets, and applications Demonstrable experience in building strong internal and external relationships. Computer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint Self-motivated - enthusiasm and drive to succeed. Good at time management and focusing on objectives. Ability to work as part of a team as well as on an individual basis. Creative - able to think outside the box. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good presentation skills. Valid driving licence. Presents themselves professionally. Able to travel to meet customers and suppliers. You will get As Technical Sales Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £55K-£75K + Package.
