Pickfords is hiring a Technical Sales Manager to join our Business Solutions team. This role is key to driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. Customer engagement: Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that add value. Account management: Manage and develop a portfolio of accounts, conducting regular reviews and providing detailed data, costs and support. Proposals and quotes: Prepare and present detailed quotations and proposals, supporting larger projects or bids as required. Cross-selling services: Promote a full range of Pickfords' services to existing and new contacts within client organisations. Customer relationship building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience during every stage of their move or project. Market knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to ensure Pickfords remains a trusted leader in the market. Brand advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for Pickfords, raising the profile of our services through positive customer interactions and strategic networking. What we're looking for:

Proven sales expertise: Experience in sales or account management, preferably within a service-based or logistics environment. Consultative approach: Strong ability to engage customers and tailor solutions to their unique needs. Strong communication skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and communicate effectively, both internally and externally. Results driven: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets. Organised and proactive: Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Team player: Collaborative approach, able to work with colleagues across different departments to deliver excellent service.
