Based from home with travel to customer sites in the UK. We are recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for a well-known food packaging OEM who are looking to maximize machinery sales of food packaging equipment. Technical Sales Manager Responsibilities
Sell complete process systems and stand-alone machines such as Labellers, handling systems, thermoformers, fillers, inspection systems, etc. Approach new potential clients. Follow up on new/warm leads provided by the business. Maintain current customer relationships. Work closely with the marketing team to identify new sales leads. Visit customer sites and host at exhibitions. Technical Sales Experience and Qualities
Min 5 years selling capital machinery in a field-based role. Knowledge of fish, meat, poultry, confectionery, dairy manufacturing. Willing to travel – some overnight stays. Happy to travel across Ireland. Good personal and presentation skills. Self-motivated. Packaging machinery knowledge. Technical background (desirable). Positives
