NET Recruit are partnering with a successful engineering business to assist them on their search for a Sales Manager - Modular Cold Stores in Southampton.

Your Role

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: Identifying and proactively reaching prospects who may require container cold storage solutions, undertaking market research to identify opportunities, trends and competitors. Building strong customer relationships with new and existing customers, acting as the trusted point of contact, undertaking follow-ups and providing sound aftersales support, coordinating with technical teams if needed. Developing and implementing successful sales strategies with the aim of generating leads, converting these to opportunities and generating a strong sales pipeline which is regularly updated on the CRM. Ensuring a strong technical knowledge of cold storage systems, to include insulation, refrigeration units and temperature control, is kept, and using this to provide technical guidance for customers in order to support them selecting suitable business offerings. Undertaking site visits to evaluate customer requirements and proposing solutions that will address these needs, whilst also collaborating with the engineering team to design and customise cold storage solutions to adapt to these needs. Preparing reports based on sales forecasts, pipeline activity, performance metrics, market trends, customer feedback and improvement points, including recommendations to enhance strategies.

You MUST Have:

Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria: Possess a qualification or relevant experience in engineering or related field. Demonstrable sales experience, ideally within the container cold storage or the refrigeration industries. Excellent technical knowledge relating to refrigeration systems and cold storage solutions. Fantastic communication skills, particularly in sales and building customer relationships. Knowledge of CRM systems and other IT tools such as Microsoft Office. A full clean driving license.
