Are you a Sales enthusiast with a knack for nurturing relationships and a proven track record in the Construction industry? K.A.G Recruitment are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to spearhead sales initiatives, drive growth and support existing clients. This role is not just about managing accounts; it's about being a part of something bigger, contributing to a long-term strategy, and leading the way in the sector's evolution.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

To actively seek out and build business prospects with new customers, and to also develop and maintain excellent relationships with current customers. Additionally, increase and improve exposure within the marketplace, and provide complete and appropriate solutions to each client.

Position Overview: Title : Technical Sales Manager Hours : 40 per week (Monday – Friday, 08:00-17:00) with flexibility required to meet business demands Package : Upto 55,000 – Company Vehicle – plus KPI Performance Bonus Term : Permanent Reporting to : Group Sales Director Location : Field-Based - You will be required to travel predominately within England & Wales but focusing mainly around the Midlands & Home Counties. Key Responsibilities: To gain an in-depth knowledge of all products, but on Fire Door Foam and Sealant products specifically To develop profitable long-term relationships with all existing and potential accounts within the defined geographical area To devise and implement creative initiatives to grow business within individual accounts and across the assigned territory Create business plans for each customer from detailed key information and objectives Deliver Toolbox Talks, product demonstrations and Power Point presentations to customers Identify up-selling opportunities for new and existing customers Comply with the Health and Safety responsibilities as defined in the company health and safety policy, and ensure that any specific responsibilities are adequately delegated when required Ensure the requirements of ISO9001:2015 standards are maintained and any changes are implemented. Keep up to date records of sales and activity, and ensure all relevant personnel in the company are updated (CRM System) Work closely with internal team members and departments and providing updates on customer activity

What You Bring to the Table: Experience: A proven track record working in a Field Sales/Account Management, with a spotlight on achievements within the Construction industry. Skills: A blend of strategic planning, change management, problem-solving, and operational excellence, underpinned by outstanding communication abilities. Knowledge: Working knowledge of house builders, building contractors, joinery manufacturers and builders merchants would be beneficial
