NEW POSITION “Master of Motion” Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, this role is responsible to support and help grow the DELPHI brand and product portfolio with all points of the UK and Eire distribution network – this will include members of ALL buying groups, independents and National Account businesses on a defined perimeter (product/geographical). This position includes retaining and developing current customers, identifying any new opportunities at factor and garage level. Key responsibilities Support the business to meet budgeted sales & margin targets by product line and in line with the appointed business plan for the area and region. Work closely with strategic customers and buying groups (AAG, ECP, GSF IFA etc.) in conjunction with the KAM’s to strategically plan visits and manage time effectively in visiting people at branch, regional and end user / garage level. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer branches, field-based sales teams and product management to support growth and provide key market feedback. Support and develop national account business. Work in close collaboration with UK Sales Manager to define key strategic targets in terms of growth, Market share & profitability. Implement business plans and strategy for sales region supporting UK Sales Manager and KAM’s with regular feedback and reporting in line with business requirements. Work closely with KAM’s, Technical Dept. and Sales manager along with all relevant internal functions as required to support customers at Branch and garage level to identify/maximize sales opportunities and achieve growth targets, including identification of new business opportunities. Support technical events / trade shows and present product ranges to customer base with a strong emphasis on the diagnostic and tooling ranges. Deliver training at garage and distributor level for all of PHINIA/ Delphi product ranges and technologies. Be the technical interface face of the company within the IAM at all levels. Work with Tech Services to push online and physical training needs and develop revenues in line with budget. Work with UK Sales Manager to direct activity of Tech Sales Managers in Key Accounts/Buying Groups/Customers that you have responsibility for. Monitor competitor benchmarking, customer needs and local market trends and insights. Drive customer engagement, share of wallet analysis and market share gain. Within set Key Accounts/Buying Groups/Customers be responsible for the Implementation of the Diagnostics go-to-market strategy in line with Product strategy. What we’re looking for 7+ years’ experience in UK IAM Automotive Industry with Technical and Sales biased roles. Strong knowledge of Aftermarket business: Customers, products, competition & distribution channels. Expected skills & competencies: Interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent time management and diary planning working in conjunction with KAM’s. Technical understanding and demonstration of all PHINIA technical products and diagnostic tools related to all vehicle types. Ability to adapt to a specific audience (Motor Factor, Distributor, Independent Garage, National fast fit and general members of the public). Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team and to operate individually in the field. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. English is preferred.
