Our client, an industry leading manufacturer, is seeking a

Technical Sales Support Specialist

to join the business on a permanent basis to support the Technical/Sales team.

This role has been created due to continued growth and the support required by the field-based sales team - this role is available for an immediate start.

This role is ideal for a driven candidate looking to join a stable, long-standing manufacturer.

The successful candidate will be required to handle inbound queries from the sales team in the field to help with technical questions, specifications of products, and calculations.

A background in engineering/manufacturing is required, with the ability to understand engineering drawings and perform technical calculations from engineering data.

Full training will be provided.

Hours: Monday - Friday (Apply online only).

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to technical queries and support requests from the Sales Team. Interpret customer requirements accurately, ensuring alignment with product specifications and applications. Conduct necessary technical calculations to provide solutions and recommendations to meet customer needs. Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to ensure timely delivery of accurate technical information to customers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's product range and applications. Support the creation of technical documentation, such as specifications and application notes, as required. Provide input to the development of new products based on customer feedback and market trends. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to products or applications. Maintain a record of customer interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications/Skills

Apprenticeship/qualifications in Engineering. Ideally, will hold previous experience in a technical support/sales support role. Ability to read engineering drawings. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Strong time management skills and a proactive attitude.
