. Our Technical SEO Lead will oversee the efficient day-to-day technical management, carrying out ‘hands-on’ on-site and technical changes, ensuring best in class SEO is applied across owned web properties.

The role will require staying on top of, and adapting to the evolving search landscape, ensuring they stay on top of latest search developments such as Google AIOs and Bing Co-pilot. They will need to be a well organised, methodical person, passionate organic search optimisation, confident communicator, brilliant digital experiences, and the pursuit of technical excellence.

What you’ll be doing: You’ll work closely with the Senior SEO Manager to develop, plan and implement on-page technical enhancements to the

websites and ensure SEO best practice is adhered to. You’ll provide hands on delivery of work to optimise on-site and technical strategies. Analyse data to support and inform on-page technical requirements and deliver recommendations for development. You’ll be the voice of technical SEO within

Jet2

- Comfortable working alongside developers and proficient in providing non-technical stakeholders with clear, concise and jargon-free technical SEO recommendations. You’ll work with other departments such as SEO Outreach, Performance Marketing and Social to ensure a holistic approach to search. You’ll work with the SEO Outreach Lead to ensure that the wider marketing teams are fully aware of how SEO contributes to the marketing mix and where they can use it to drive short and long-term value.

What you’ll have: Solid knowledge of technical SEO – experience of solving complex technical SEO issues, with a demonstrable experience and understanding of LLMs, Google AIOs and other search platforms. Excellent communication and good project management skills – comfortable presenting with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Well organised, flexible, able to prioritise and ability to work to a brief with clear deadlines. Experience in a dedicated SEO role (agency or in-house) and proven technical experience.
