Technical Service Engineer focuses on liaise directly with engine oems to resolve technical issues.
What the role involves
- Liaise directly with Engine OEMs to resolve technical issues.
- Manage technical support requests, including CSC cases, Technical Variances, and equivalent submissions.
- Repair schemes, communicating requirements effectively to workshop teams for implementation.
- Support to shop floor technicians, ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience within commercial aircraft engine maintenance.
- Experience liaising with OEM technical support teams and managing technical queries and deviations.
- Previous experience developing maintenance workscopes and technical instructions.
- Flexibility to support operational requirements when required.
Confirmed role details
- Support the Planning Department by creating detailed work instructions aligned with customer maintenance requirements.
- Repair workscopes, including LLP replacements, repairs, and overhauls.
- Assist in the development of engine maintenance.
- Support the Commercial Department with the assessment and quotation of new work packages, identifying tooling, material, and labour requirements.
