Technical Service Engineer focuses on liaise directly with engine oems to resolve technical issues.

What the role involves

  • Liaise directly with Engine OEMs to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage technical support requests, including CSC cases, Technical Variances, and equivalent submissions.
  • Repair schemes, communicating requirements effectively to workshop teams for implementation.
  • Support to shop floor technicians, ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven experience within commercial aircraft engine maintenance.
  • Experience liaising with OEM technical support teams and managing technical queries and deviations.
  • Previous experience developing maintenance workscopes and technical instructions.
  • Flexibility to support operational requirements when required.

Confirmed role details

  • Support the Planning Department by creating detailed work instructions aligned with customer maintenance requirements.
  • Repair workscopes, including LLP replacements, repairs, and overhauls.
  • Assist in the development of engine maintenance.
  • Support the Commercial Department with the assessment and quotation of new work packages, identifying tooling, material, and labour requirements.
