A typical day in the life of a successful Technical Services Specialist requires technical project management prowess and excellent communication skills. You will receive projects via our support ticketing service, set up scoping calls with clients, and communicate with any stakeholders to keep projects moving forward. You will also participate in continuous improvement projects on an ongoing basis.

As an ideal candidate, you will have a background in client-facing support roles as well as an understanding of data, including models, validation, and integration. You will help Absorb’s clients solve business problems by carrying out data imports and exports to integrate their systems with Absorb, as well as supporting data issues and various turnkey integrations. You’ll also support data analytics and business intelligence through consultation services.

Responsibilities:

Scoping, implementing, and maintaining technical service products using Absorb’s software stack.

Gathering and documenting project requirements, confirming project scope, and working with clients to develop achievable timelines and program goals for their LMS.

Managing client projects to completion according to client timelines and requirements.

Delivering training, consulting, and best practice information on Absorb products & services.

Supporting and implementing additional products and integrations such as RESTful API, Single Sign On, CRM/HRM integrations, etc.

Assisting and collaborating with other Absorb teams on technical and data-related issues.

Updating and maintaining internal documentation resources.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships to provide the best possible service experience in every interaction.

What you'll bring:

Minimum 2 years’ experience implementing integration solutions for a SaaS software company or similar.

Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and presentation capabilities, with an ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to audiences at varying technical levels.

Experience implementing, training, and/or managing data migrations for a SaaS software.

Strong analytical skills to model and solve complex business requirements and make recommendations on best practices.

Able to maintain high-quality service delivery and supporting documentation.

Self-driven, able to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with Zendesk, JIRA, and Confluence.

Experience with APIs, Single Sign On, and SQL.

Experience with CRM and HRIS applications (e.g., Salesforce, ADP, BambooHR, UKG Pro, Dayforce, Workday, etc.).

Experience with BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Snowflake, Sisense).

Second language (French or Spanish) would be considered an asset.
