What will you do in the role?
As the
Technical Services Structures Engineer , you will review and control the
Jet2.com
structural
Airworthiness Directive
and
Service Bulletin
compliance, acting as a focal point for structural expertise and coordinating technical support as required. You will also:
Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s business, focusing on the technical status of structural components. Identify and pursue training opportunities to enhance role-specific skills and personal development. Support off-wing structural repairs by developing work scopes, liaising with design teams, providing repair data, and maintaining compliance records. Manage repair documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Assist the Technical Services Manager with performance reports, addressing structural integrity and repair support issues. Ensure damage tolerance and airworthiness requirements are met using company IT systems. Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, delivering repairs within agreed timelines.
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
Our
Technical Services Structures Engineer
will ideally hold an
EASA Part 66 License
or
equivalent Aeronautical Engineering Degree , possess an in-depth knowledge of
B737
/
A320/21
aircraft, and have an
excellent track record of structural or composite repairs . You will also:
Have worked with both the manufacturers
Structural Repair Manual
and
production drawings . Be able to
communicate clearly
and
work methodically , delivering to
tight timescales . Have excellent
attention to detail . Work
co-operatively and flexibly , whilst maintaining
strong working relationships
at all business levels.
