Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What You'll Do

This role involves leading and supporting a team of experts to deliver customised communication and network solutions to customers. You'll design detailed solutions in areas like Unified Communication, Contact Centres, WAN, and LAN, and provide technical guidance to important clients.

You'll also be involved in the later stages of the sales process to ensure the solutions are feasible and meet customer needs, staying on until the solution is fully operational and the support period ends.

Key Accountabilities
As our Lead Technical Solutions Architect, you will be accountable for the following activities:
  • Lead and support a virtual team in designing, developing, delivering, and testing complex customer solutions, ensuring technical assurance and governance.
  • Oversee the transition from existing to new solutions.
  • Approve pre-sales High-Level Design and requirements for the Solution Integration team.
  • Manage the Solution Integration statement of work, translating high-level designs into detailed technical deliverables and identifying risks and issues.
  • Handle technical risks and issues during solution delivery.
  • Operate governance processes and hold technical teams accountable.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, leading design and integration workshops to capture customer requirements and optimise solution designs.
  • Produce and ensure compliance of detailed solution designs, including third-party deliverables.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales consultancy and 4th line support to drive new business and support customer services.

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced Technical Solution Architect who has a background in the following:
  • Highly effective technical planning across customer, internal and 3rd Party technical teams
  • Builds influential and effective relationships with technical, service and delivery teams
  • Builds astute relationships within customer organisations
  • Effective management of internal and external teams
  • Business Acumen/Transformation focussed
  • Experience of designing in one or more core areas of UC, Contact Centre and LAN/WAN related technologies
  • Significant experience of fixed product market, in depth understanding of complex customer solutions including UC, Contact Centre and LAN/WAN related technologies
  • Proven track record for delivery of large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions; demonstrable leadership skills and organisational experience
  • High standard of stakeholder management, written & verbal communication skills
