Technical Support Engineer – About our client: Our client is a respected manufacturer of electrical hardware solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team as a Technical Support Engineer, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional technical support to their customers. Technical Support Engineer – Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Enhanced pension scheme Private Medical (after 1 year) Technical Support Engineer – Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical customer support via phone and email, logging all activities using Zendesk. Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance for hardware and software products. Assist with installations and technical support at customer sites when needed. Monitor hosted services for site faults or data anomalies and notify relevant stakeholders. Manage the RMA process and ensure customer satisfaction with timely follow-ups. Create and maintain technical documentation, including FAQs. Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues. Technical Support Engineer – What We’re Looking For: GCSE or higher in Maths is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Qualifications in electronics or IT are advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of installing and maintaining SQL databases is beneficial. Valid driver’s licence.
