Technical Support Engineer
Technical Support Engineer focuses on providing technical product support to customers and internal teams via telephone, email and online platforms.
What the role involves
- Providing technical product support to customers and internal teams via telephone, email and online platforms.
- Occasional customer site visits to provide assistance.
- Delivering technical training and preparing customer training materials.
- Supporting the sales team to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Testing and configuring products.
- Assisting with small-batch production activities including testing, configuration and some assembly work.
Skills and requirements
- Qualification level HNC in Electronics or similar discipline.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with Ethernet networking and TCP/IP configuration.
- Familiarity with device configuration software and USB interfaces.
