We are looking to recruit a Technical Support Specialist in the Configuration department for our growing team. The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient support to our clients, offering basic to intermediate level IT configuration services. They will need to be competent at component level and self-sufficient in managing their workload within timely parameters. Key Responsibilities

Provide software installations and configuration in an existing IT infrastructure or pre-designed project. Work with bespoke systems (training provided). Build various systems using detailed scripts (training provided on scripts, which must be followed to avoid escalation). Effective up-line reporting, requiring strong communication skills to interact with varying levels of stakeholders. Data input (25-50% of the role), primarily on spreadsheets, requiring manual input and attention to detail. Consolidate consignments for distribution, understanding how individual assignments contribute to the entire order and communicating effectively with supervisors/team leaders. Pallet movement and work planning. Work to driven targets and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), demonstrating strong time management skills. Box and unbox IT equipment. Candidate Requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills. IT background. Data input experience is essential. Flexibility to react to demand on short notice. Proactive and a team player. Ability to work to driven targets and SLAs, with strong time management skills. Knowledge of IT componentry. Accuracy and attention to detail.
