Our client, a dynamic and growing leader in the food industry, is seeking a Technical Systems Manager to join their team. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to increased workloads and business growth. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will lead the technical services team and work closely with the Quality Manager and their team to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Internal Audits: Oversee the internal audit schedule, ensuring it is effectively managed and updated as necessary. Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and continuously improve the QMS to ensure compliance with customer standards and BRC requirements. External Audits: Play a pivotal role in external audits, collaborating with the Quality Manager to ensure successful outcomes. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the technical services team, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Customer Complaints: Ensure customer complaints are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry (minimum 5 years). A strong understanding of HACCP principles. Extensive experience with BRC standards and retailer requirements. A degree in food science or a related field. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Salary - 35,000- 40,000
