Technical Trainer

on a

Permanent

basis to join the team based in

either our Haslingden or Stirling training centres. How can you make a difference? This role will provide our employees with the technical knowledge and skills necessary to ensure they can provide a quality service to our customers whilst working within strict Health and Safety guidelines. What will you be doing? Key responsibilities for this role include: Delivering a variety of different training courses using different methods of delivery including Classroom based learning, on-the-job learning, virtual classes, train-the-trainer and on occasions using external service providers. Planning and developing targeted specific training programmes. Developing, creating and revising training materials. Building strong relationships with technical experts and customers. Continuous personal and technical development of own skills and knowledge. Liaise closely with Nordex Academy European headquarters. Supporting the HSE and Engineering departments to approve external training providers. What are we looking for? The successful candidate will have a Technical or Science based degree or technical apprenticeship. You will be an experienced technical trainer and ideally have experience of working within the Wind Industry. You will also be a great communicator and have strong interpersonal skills to support the delivery in any method of training. Other qualities we are looking for include: Fluent in English and ideally you be able to communicate to a basic level in German. Computer literate with experience of using MS Office, Databases, and SAP. Good planning & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise. Ability to work autonomously or as part of the team. Strong Health & Safety Awareness. Please be aware this role will require the postholder to travel nationally and internationally on occasion and will require nights away from home.
