Kinetic Recruitment are actively recruiting for a Technical Trainer to join a well known global organisation on a long term temporary contract.As Technical Trainer your responsibilities will include; - Delivery, assessment and internal verification of engineering courses up to level 2 in-house and the assessment and internal verification of level 3 competencies within the company in line with apprenticeship standards - Co-ordinate, track and ensure the timely completion of all elements of the apprentice standard, mentoring apprentices in the development of their knowledge, skill and behaviours required for the standard - The development and maintenance of engineering course materials, including lesson plans and schemes of work - Using OneFile to maintain effective and efficient record keeping, ensuring all relevant evidence of learning is accurately and correctly documented and completed for each learner - Review course content and delivery methods to allow for future needs and update working methods, techniques and own professional development - Ensure the company Zero Harm culture and compliance guideline are upheld Skills and Experience: Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualificationHold or have ability to obtain enhanced DBS security clearance with Adults and Children's Barred listedMachining experienceLevel 5 Teaching Qualification or equivalent (desirable)Training Assessment and Quality Assurance Award (TAQA) (desirable)D32/D33 or A1 Assessors Award (desirable)D34 or V1 Verifiers Award (desirable) This is a full time position based in Newcastle Upon Tyne If you are interested in this role, click APPLY NOW.
