Location: Redditch Salary: Basic Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience and qualifications Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an established company as an Automotive Trainer. Our client specializes in delivering Electric Vehicle (EV) training courses to various sectors, including Automotive Engineering, Motorsport, Rail, and Aviation. They are looking for an experienced and qualified trainer with a strong technical background in Electric Vehicles and related equipment. Key Responsibilities as an Automotive Trainer: Develop Technical Training Programs: Create training programs that meet organizational needs, ensuring they are relevant and up-to-date. Course Content Creation: Develop training schedules, classroom agendas, and detailed course content. Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops either in groups or individually, both on-site and at customer locations within the UK and globally. Training Material Preparation: Prepare comprehensive training materials such as presentations, worksheets, and exercises. Assessment: Evaluate delegate competency and assess the effectiveness of training programs. Quality Compliance: Ensure training programs meet ISO 9001 quality standards and external accreditation requirements. What’s Required from You as an Automotive Trainer? Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, ideally educated to HNC, HND, or Degree Level. Training Experience: Previous experience as a trainer, preferably within the automotive sector, and a confident speaker with the ability to engage an audience. Teaching Qualifications: Possess or be willing to work towards an approved teaching qualification. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. IT Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages. Driving License: A full UK or international driving license is essential. Personal Attributes: A can-do attitude, high level of motivation, and a solutions-focused approach. The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances is crucial.
