Technician

Technician focuses on undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles.

What the role involves

• Undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles.
• Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertaken.
• Liaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands.
• Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
• Competitive depending on experience (Any overtime as/when required would be paid at time & a half).

Confirmed role details

• Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.

Candidate fit

• A background in mechanics/as a Vehicle Technician.
• Previous experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work.
• Previous MOT Testing experience would be preferred but not essential.

Additional role context

• 8:30am – 17:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch (overtime available).
• Sociable weekday working hours.
