Job Description We are seeking a Technologist, Gas Processing to act as a subject expert for gas processing technologies (mainly carbon capture and amine processes) at local level. You will work with other technologists, oversee the technology input to projects and proposals, and local R&D activities, recommend and conduct the implementation of new technological design and technologies and developments of existing technologies and coordinate with other T. EN offices on proposals, projects and R&D, to provide a consistent approach to the market, promoting T. EN technological know-how both to internal and external customers. Job Scope Manage the development of the carbon capture and amine technologies within the local office, including any local R&D activities. Ensure the correct technology input into proposals and projects as required. Take part in project activities which require technology input, e.g. participation in reviews with clients, HAZID / HAZOP reviews, review / approval of key deliverables, etc. Input to certain project activities to ensure technology is correctly applied and guarantees will be met. Promote T.EN technologies to clients and internally. Make and prepare presentations to conferences promoting T.EN. Prepare technical papers for publication to promote T.EN technology. Prepare technology risk assessments and provide performance guarantees. Manage the relevant budget for assigned technology and R&D activities. Coordinate with peers within T.EN and the T.EN product lines. Carry out internal training in T.EN technologies. Attend, record, and assess plant test runs to demonstrate performance guarantees. Ensure work is performed in accordance with company procedures and ensures excellent HSE & engineering performance. Take part in, and actively promote, continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability of T.EN designs and operations. Manage personnel (as required), including ensuring productivity, timekeeping, compliance with budgets and schedules, and conductance of performance reviews. Typical Background and Experience Required Must have: University degree in Chemical Engineering. Significant years of experience in process engineering and technology. Deep knowledge and experience of technological field(s) and process discipline(s). Experience of communicating technical solutions to clients.
