Job Summary:

Are you ready for an exciting role combining CNC machining expertise with creative brand building? MSC Industrial Supply UK is looking for a dynamic Technology Centre Manager to oversee the strategic operations of our Technology Centre. This role is crucial in aligning the centre’s future strategy with our business goals and enhancing our brand presence through various digital marketing channels.

What You’ll Do:

As the Technology Centre Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll have full P&L responsibility for the Technology Centre, ensuring it operates seamlessly. Working closely with the engineering team and managers, you will oversee the use of the centre for their customers’ manufacturing projects, supporting where needed.

You’ll be a key point of contact for our strategic suppliers, helping them showcase their brands through MSC. This involves launching new products, developing innovative solutions, and creating go-to-market strategies. You’ll also organise engaging events such as open days and training sessions for customers and associates, helping to upskill them and our team.

But that’s not all. You’ll play a fundamental role in enhancing our brand presence and driving sales through effective marketing initiatives. Your primary focus will be on brand awareness and sales growth, ensuring that every project captures compelling content. Working closely with our marketing team, you’ll maximise our social media platforms and website engagement.

We’re looking for a creative thinker with the confidence to get in front of the camera and assist the marketing team in managing our Technology Centre’s social media platforms. Your ability to generate fresh ideas and effectively communicate our brand story will be essential in elevating our market position and driving sales. Step into this exciting opportunity and become an influencer for MSC! Your creativity and passion will help shape our brand’s story and drive engagement, making a real impact in the digital space.

What You’ll Bring:

We’re seeking a candidate with hands-on experience from the shop floor, particularly in programming and running jobs in a CNC environment. You should have a genuine passion for engineering and be eager to step out of your comfort zone to become an influencer in this space. Familiarity with Fusion 360, Siemens NX or Vericut is beneficial, but not essential. However, you must be capable of learning these tools to program the machines effectively.

Who You Are:

An innovative thinker who can drive creativity and innovation within the Technology Centre.

A collaborative team player who works effectively with cross-functional teams.

A proactive self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

A brand ambassador who will be passionate about building and promoting the MSC Industrial Supply UK brand.

What’s in it for you? At MSC, you’ll be able to shape your role and develop your career. We believe in continuous growth, offering ongoing coaching, mentoring, and a culture of personal and professional development.

In addition to career growth, we offer generous benefits:

Holiday entitlement:

25 days of holiday + bank holidays + a paid day off for your birthday

Company car

Company Pension Scheme:

Matched up to 10% of your annual salary

Life Insurance:

6x your annual salary

Private Medical Insurance

Healthcare Support:

Discounted health cash plan and private medical insurance

Exclusive Discounts:

Access to discounts and rewards across popular brands for shopping, travel, and more

How to Apply:

If you’re excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you.
