Kelly Group is currently looking to recruit the very best talent and have a unique opportunity for Experienced Telecoms Civils Operatives to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be working on our CityFibre contract. In your role you will be responsible for: Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA Code of Practice 1991 and HSG47 Installing new duct work and chambers Clearing blockages Rod, Rope and Testing Compliance with Specification for Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH) Attending customer premises to introduce CityFibre services, to provide cables through underground networks from Fibre distribution points to customers properties Liaising with customers to discuss all routing through their gardens before commencing activity. Working in the CityFibre UG and PIA network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation, delivering 100% satisfaction to our customers. Key Skills and Experience: Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence. Experience on the CityFibre network. Competent in the use of mechanical Civils equipment Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices. Previous Telecoms experience Experience within a hands-on trade Excellent customer service skills Be motivated and be able to work independently as well be a team player. Be comfortable and willing to work at heights when required. Be comfortable and willing to work underground when required What’s on offer for successful candidates?
