Project!

An independent regulator requires a Temporary Records Manager until the end of March 2025. The project is to review records of three legacy commissions that are over twenty years old for potential transfer to The National Archives. The archivist will work closely with a records manager to conduct the appraisal and then to prepare, catalogue and arrange transfer to TNA. There are approximately 250 large boxes of records (approx 382 x 297 x 271mm). The work would be undertaken onsite at their Cardiff or Manchester offices and would need to be completed by 31 March 2025. Salary £39,000 pro rata. The security clearance that will be required is Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Currently, this takes around 2 weeks based on the responsiveness of referees and the speed at which the organisation can arrange a face-to-face meeting with candidates to verify ID for right to work purposes (must do the latter in-house).
