Lead and manage the disrepair and maintenance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality housing services in line with organisational objectives. Oversee the effective and equitable provision of housing services to members of the public, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing overall team performance. Offer expert advice and guidance to the team on housing-related issues, proactively identifying and addressing areas for improvement. Monitor service delivery standards, implementing necessary improvements and ensuring the team is equipped to meet operational demands effectively. Essential Background Required
Certified Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing & Level 4 certificate or equivalent in Housing, Environmental Health or a related field. Experience of working in a management position within the housing sector. Considerable practical legal knowledge around housing regulations. Demonstrable ability of delivering training projects to either small or large teams. Public Sector or Local Authority experience. Vacancy Summary
