Temporary Works Contract Design Engineer (Robot & Tekla) - Hybrid Working
We are seeking a Contract Design Engineer with expertise in Robot and Tekla software, specialising in the design of temporary works such as scaffolding, formwork, falsework, and other load-bearing structures for industrial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on process-related projects, with a hybrid working arrangement that starts in the office and transitions to remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and create detailed plans for temporary works, including scaffolding, propping, shoring, and other structural solutions. Utilise advanced engineering software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and Robot to develop accurate and reliable designs. Ensure that all designs adhere to industry safety standards, including Eurocodes and BS standards, as well as client-specific requirements. Collaborate effectively with project teams and clients, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery. Attend site visits as required to review project progress and address any design-related issues.
Qualifications: Proven experience with Robot and Tekla for temporary works design. A minimum of 5 years' experience in temporary works design within an industrial or process-related environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. A solid understanding of relevant engineering codes and safety standards.
