As the Tendering Manager at LEF Welding and Fabrication, you will be pivotal in our business development efforts. You will manage the tendering process from inception to completion, ensuring that all proposals are thorough, competitive, and align with our company’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive tenders and proposals. Analyse tender documents to identify key requirements and risks. Coordinate with various departments (engineering, procurement, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information and compile comprehensive tender packages. Develop and maintain a database of costs and prices for standard materials and services. Ensure compliance with all tender requirements and company policies. Monitor and evaluate the performance of submitted tenders, providing feedback for continuous improvement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tendering or bid management role, preferably within the welding and fabrication industry. Strong understanding of tendering processes, commercial terms, and contractual agreements. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tendering software. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
