Role Overview

The Asset Coordinator position at Northgate is an important role within the Territory Asset Team. Responsible for the Coordination of the Territories fleet disposal and vehicle standards compliance, the role is tasked with the accurate identification and administration of the Northgate sales fleet and its channels.

The role begins with working towards a coordinated UK plan, in conjunction with the Asset Manager delivery of these plans to achieve stated UK aims and goals. Keeping in constant contact across the Branch Territory Network and reviewing the fleet daily ensuring vehicle disposals are identified, appraised and removed from the Region’s fleet in a timely manner.

As part of the Territory Asset team, the Asset Coordinator works closely with the Asset Manager and Branch Teams to ensure the maximisation of opportunities to identify and dispose of the fleet in the most cost efficient manner and profitable channel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable to the Asset Manager for ensuring timely de-fleets to maximise utilisation across the Territory
  • Delivery of the de-fleet plan from their Asset Manager
  • Ensuring that de-fleet volume and PPU plans are coordinated and met
  • Correct identification of vehicle disposals, sales channel and repair method selection to ensure compliance with disposal vehicle standards maximising revenue opportunity.
  • Accurate administration and documentation of all de-fleet on company systems
  • Accountable for the timely movement of vehicles to the designated de-fleet centres
  • Liaising with 3rd party logistics providers to ensure any inter branch logistics carried out efficiently and within budget.
  • Liaise with fulfilment team within in the CSC and Branch network to ensure all customer requests are covered.
  • Semi cap requesting fitment and making sure charge lines are added by liaising with suppliers, depots, account managers and customers.
  • Liaise with branches to ensure Auxillis vehicles identified for defleet are in the correct status.
