Test Analyst

to join their dynamic IT Quality Assurance Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in collaborative environments and is keen to ensure high-quality systems that meet both business and customer needs. This role offers a Hybrid working model with Flexible working hours. Monday – Friday. About the Role: As a Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch testing solutions for internal and customer-facing platforms. Working closely with IT teams and stakeholders, you will design and execute comprehensive manual tests, identify and mitigate risks, and enhance the overall customer experience. You’ll also contribute to fostering a culture of excellence in testing and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities of the Test Analyst: Plan, design, and execute manual testing for Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications, ensuring seamless functionality and performance Perform API testing, non-functional testing (e.g., security, usability), and system integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams Develop test plans, run SQL queries to validate data, and document test cases and results effectively Contribute to Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban), mentor peers on testing best practices, and participate in deployments, including out-of-hours support Requirements of the Test Analyst: Proven experience in manual testing across multiple platforms and proficiency in API testing using tools like Azure DevOps Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SQL, and relational databases, with knowledge of continuous integration and automation concepts Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and task prioritisation ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or equivalent) with a commitment to ongoing professional development Benefits: Hybrid working Company Bonus scheme Staff Health Insurance, cash plan and remote GP Pension – company contribute up to 15% of your salary Induction programme, mentoring and training Cycle to work scheme Monthly recognition Buy and sell additional annual leave Team building, fun actives and events Free on-site parking, with electric charging points Friendly and supportive environment If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional quality and enjoy solving complex challenges, this could be your perfect next step.
