Controls Test & Validation Technician x2 £37,000 - £40,000 OTE c£60k+ Shropshire Ref: 24217 Thanks to both a high increase in workload and internal movement, this world leading supplier has immediate requirements for 2 Control Systems Technicians who are competent with fault finding & modification of Rockwell PLC's. Controls Test & Validation Technician - The Role: Test and validation of all systems and equipment at Shropshire base and international customer sites Commissioning of all automated system and equipment, including PLC & robot hardware/software Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs Conduct customer training & system servicing Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics Controls Test & Validation Technician - The Person: Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings Hands-on experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment Degree or technically qualified to BEng / HNC in an electrical discipline or equivalent work experience Professional manner with good communication skills Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development Keen to accept responsibility and accountability Full UK valid driving licence & Passport You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time.
