We are now looking to recruit an additional Test Engineer to join our highly specialised team in Oxford. Your Activities: Taking ownership in the development of testing processes for WIKA Optical Sensing products and supporting product development test activities, ensuring that developed parts meet specification requirements and all evidential data to support specification claims is stored in a controlled and accessible manner. Using software and hardware tools to support testing activities and developing such tools. Producing test process documentation to ensure effective handover of test processes to the operations department and continual improvement of development testing resources. Checking test equipment and WIKA Optical Sensing manufacturing/production tools to ensure they are maintained and kept in calibration. Developing hardware test solutions for manual, semi-automated, and automated tests of WIKA Optical Sensing prototypes and products. Developing software (LabView, Python, R) test solutions for semi-automated and automated testing of WIKA Optical Sensing prototypes and products. Ensuring test processes are aligned with client requirements, internal requirements, and regulatory requirements. Producing relevant supporting manufacturing documentation (Work Instructions, Travellers, WO routing, etc.). Being proficient in using computer software tools for regular testing of WIKA Optical Sensing products and components, managing software tools in line with WIKA Optical Sensing QMS. Supporting the development, manufacture, and commissioning of tooling for test rigs for regular and customised testing within WIKA Optical Sensing. Your Profile: Test Engineer with a background in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering. Bachelor’s degree in automation engineering or equivalent education, or a combination of technical work experience and vocational qualifications. LabVIEW proficiency to Core 3 level and beyond (Certified LabVIEW Developer). Strong ability to understand test inputs and outputs. Background and experience in performing manual and automated test sequences, validating data, and producing test reports. Ability to employ hardware and software tools for test automation. Experience with test hardware/software with the ability to configure. Ability to understand test specifications and convert them into technical requirements for test sequences. Ability to modify and develop software tools, which may include software development in the LabVIEW environment. Technical understanding of pressurised systems testing, accelerated life testing, qualification testing (regulatory), and vibration testing. Job Types:
