Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks for data validation in the Azure Data Stack, including tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Power BI.

Perform end-to-end data testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms.

Create and execute test cases, including unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and performance tests, with a focus on data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Develop and maintain test scripts and automated test suites for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.

Work with Azure DevOps to integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for ongoing validation of data solutions.

Experience in performing Functional Testing, System Testing and Integration Testing. Familiarity with data quality frameworks and concepts such as data governance, validation, and monitoring.

Advanced skills in SQL and working knowledge of Spark, Python, or PowerShell for automating testing tasks.

Experience in logging defects for tracking using JIRA, DevOps, HP ALM etc.

Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to identify data quality and performance issues and implement testing strategies to mitigate risks.

Ensure data governance and compliance by validating data security, encryption, and access controls across Azure resources.

Understanding of lifecycle marketing strategy, execution, and optimisation, in data-driven, customer-centric environments.

A strong communicator, determined problem solver, and creative strategist with a focus on the details.

Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

Strong analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills coupled with financial and commercial awareness.

Good understanding of DevOps / Cloud based environments.

Cross-functional teamwork internally and with external clients.

Working in an Agile environment for product deliveries in sprints.

Ability to produce high-quality documentation and artefacts to support stakeholders and team to understand the requirements.

Excellent communication skills and organisational skills. Oral and written fluency in English.

Ability to multitask, deal with ambiguity and conflicting interests of different stakeholders.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or experience in related field.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Experience designing prototypes using Miro board or similar collaboration tools and managing the priorities using Click up, JIRA etc.
