An engineering manufacturing business is seeking a Test Engineer. This is a very mature business in the engineering sector, based just on the outskirts of Norwich, and they are globally recognised in their industry. The business invests a lot of time in training and development of their teams and individuals and they like people to grow and develop their skills and knowledge. As a member of the business, you will feel valued and listened to, and that you are being invested in and empowered to progress in this healthy working environment. For this role, you will have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams whilst being proficient in soldering, crimping, lacing and splicing. Competent in the use of electronic test equipment and able to follow complex test specifications, you will be proficient in fault finding and able to diagnose in a methodical method involving others when necessary. You will ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering, must be educated to a minimum of NVQ / City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline and have had experience in a similar role.
