Endeavour has an excellent career opportunity for a passionate Test Engineer, who is keen to further their career by joining our Cyber Security client, based in Worcestershire. This is a permanent position and the salary is negotiable depending on experience. Required Skills and Knowledge: Eligibility for UK security clearance ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing Recent experience of writing, modifying, and executing software tests Domain knowledge of application security including a detailed understanding of implementation from a testing perspective is preferred Ability to work collaboratively across functions within the business and sufficient flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities Good communication skills in both written and verbal form Essential Recent Experience in Testing the Following: Web (HTTP/HTTPS) GUI and Desktop Applications Test Environment experience of the following is essential: Experience of setting up and using Virtual Machines Microsoft Windows Performing packet capture and analysis Linux or Unix or Oracle’s Solaris 10 Use of Test and Defect Management Tools Preferable Skills and Knowledge: An ability to demonstrate knowledge of the full product lifecycle is desirable Knowledge of Microsoft TFS 2010 or later, Visual Studio 2010 or later, MTM 2010 or later Software encryption TCP/IP protocols including SNMP, SFTP, syslog, NTP Configuring and using communications equipment such as routers, switches, and other IP network test equipment If you want to enhance your career and join a client in the Cyber Security sector, do not hesitate to apply with a copy of your most recent CV.
