Senior Test Engineer

Are you passionate about driving innovation in Test Method development for manufactured products? Do you thrive on providing automated production solutions? We're looking for a Senior Test Methods Engineer to lead the way.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of cutting-edge Test Methods. Collaborating closely with Operations, you'll be instrumental in designing and refining testing processes to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. You'll take the lead in working with design engineers, guiding them through the product development lifecycle to optimize testability. As a structured problem solver, you'll tackle test-related challenges, pinpointing root causes and implementing effective solutions. Moreover, you'll remain at the forefront of modern test method practices, integrating new techniques to enhance our manufacturing processes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design Pioneering Testing Methods: Collaborate with Operations to create efficient and effective testing processes for our products. Lead and Inspire: Work closely with design engineers to optimize testability throughout the product development lifecycle. Problem Solve with Precision: Tackle test-related challenges with a structured approach, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Keep Us Cutting-Edge: Stay updated on modern test method practices and implement new techniques into our manufacturing.

Your Expertise:

Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of both electronic hardware and software design. Database Wizardry: Proficient in interfacing software solutions with MS SQL, MS Access, and other databases. Tools of the Trade: Experience with Clink DTM, Geopel hardware, Cascon Software, and other essential testing tools. Ie. LABView / Labwindows CVI / NI CVICoding Programming Prowess: Ability to write software programs for In Circuit Test machines, functional test routines and other automated equipment. Team Player: Strong teamwork and organizational skills. Ability to share knowledge to junior members of the team.

Desired Experience:

In-circuit test method development AOI programming experience System testing development SQL Integration Programming experience SQL Databasing experience

Education:

Desirable: HNC / Degree or equivalent experience in Electronics or similar.
