MAHLE Powertrain is a global engineering consultancy that specializes in the design, development and integration both of electrified powertrain systems and of advanced internal combustion engines. Your Role & Responsibilities

This role is focused on supporting Propulsion test systems activities within Test Engineering.

Duties

Specify test equipment and design rigs for powertrain subsystems; engine, battery or motor to be installed in test facilities.

Setup data acquisition systems (e.g. PUMA, CP CADET, Horiba STARS or National Instruments) for data collection and advise on best practice.

Support troubleshooting activities within the test facility.

Provide technical support and guidance to staff.

Define, modify, and implement test processes.

Provide wider technical support towards the delivery of test projects.

Involved in company initiatives for future testing requirements.

Skills and Experience

Proven background in propulsion system testing and associated facilities.

Able to work well as part of a team.

IT literacy in MS Office applications is essential.

Ability to influence the customer, senior management, and team members.

Relevant experience in the field of powertrain engineering gained within an OEM or academic or consultancy environment.
