This role is for an experienced
Test Engineer
to work in our Quality Assurance (QA) team alongside our Front End and Platform Engineering teams as part of the Technology department. The QA team is responsible for ensuring quality and reliability across a broad range of devices, apps and services. As a member of the QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Frontend and Backend features and services. You will collaborate across multiple projects, taking ownership of a diverse range of testing tasks that span various aspects of our technology stack. The Test Engineer will work closely with development teams, DevOps, Operations, Product Managers, and Architects to uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions. Operating within an agile environment, you’ll help maintain smooth workflows by leveraging tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Teams to stay organised and aligned with the broader technology team. The successful candidate will need prior experience in Platform/Backend and UAT testing and a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle. You will have experience with ticketing, documentation and test management systems such as Jira, Confluence and TestRail with the ability to create detailed defect tickets, providing clear, actionable information for resolution. As Test Engineer you will be skilled in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and a good understanding of networking principles and the ability to interpret architecture diagrams.
