Interim Test Lead
Venn Group have partnered with a Local Authority to recruit an interim Test Lead to support with the introduction of Voice AI and related Automation to improve customer services. Additionally, they want deliver challenging and ambitious range of efficiencies and savings over the next couple of years.
The interim Test Lead will be required for an initial 3-5 months with scope to potentially extend due to the large programme of work. This is a full time requirements (5 days per week), with the Local Authority happy to consider remote work and paying outside of IR35.
Responsibilities:
- Test strategy and approach – to be drafted, reviewed internally, updated following feedback, and ready for sign off
- Test cases and/or scripts for each user story in a sprint
- Text execution with pass/fail metrics to include the following:
- Integration and system testing
- End-to-end testing
- Regression testing
- Performance testing and ideally load testing, to highlight any long delays
- Participation in key Agile ceremonies as well as triage meetings during hyper-support after each go-live
- Bug reporting and tracking, including steps to reproduce, severity, screenshots, and resolution status
- Advise on User Acceptance Testing, as required
Required Skills and Experience for the Interim Test Lead:
- Experience setting up testing in a green fields site from scratch
- Experience in local Government and/or Public sector doing a similar role
- Structured agile methodology - Jira and confluence
- Conversational AI experience - not essential
