Test Manager Consultant

Job Description We are looking for experienced and dynamic Consultants to join our existing teams. As a Test Manager Consultant, you will engage with our clients daily, working to understand their challenges and to deliver solutions. You will be based from one of our regional offices or on client site. Qualifications Essential Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, with at least 3 years in a test lead or test manager capacity. Experience in developing and implementing Functional and Non-Functional test strategies and test plans. Excellent working knowledge of one or more test management tools (licensed or open source). Strong stakeholder management experience within large matrix organizations. Highly technical with a background in delivering testing and/or quality assurance on large complex programs. Experience in testing BI/Data Warehouse/Analytics/ETL/Data Migration projects. Proven track record of completing projects to specifications while dealing with changing schedules, cross-team dependencies, and evolving requirements. Demonstrated management and leadership capability. Experience in successfully estimating, planning, and delivering test projects. Proven client-facing delivery with the ability to form strong client relationships. Strong in risk and issue management. The capability to motivate a team and continuously look at ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of testing and the team. Line management and/or mentoring experience. Cross and multi-platform experience. Financial services sector experience. Desirable Skills: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing and qualifications relating to test management (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Test Manager). Practical experience of working in Agile environments, including Test Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD). Full lifecycle testing experience – from Unit testing through to Acceptance Testing. Project lifecycle experience in the delivery of end-to-end projects, as well as familiarity with different development methodologies and disciplines (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps). Good SQL skills. Thought leadership. Additional Information You must be: Willing to work on client sites, potentially for extended periods. Willing to travel for work purposes and be happy to stay away from home for extended periods. Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
