Vanloq are currently recruiting for a Test Manager for our client in the financial sector. This role is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring alignment with organizational disaster recovery objectives.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary coordinator for developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for disaster recovery initiatives.
Lead and manage the execution of disaster recovery exercises, ensuring comprehensive planning, execution, and evaluation.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including application and infrastructure teams, to align recovery objectives and strategies.
Identify potential risks in disaster recovery processes and implement mitigation strategies.
Document findings, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance future disaster recovery exercises.
Monitor progress and report on disaster recovery exercise results, ensuring follow-up items are tracked to closure.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in disaster recovery testing.
Familiarity with automation tools and their execution in recovery processes.
Competence in reviewing and verifying test evidence.
Knowledge of IBM z, IBMi, and distributed platforms.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with technical teams and application/business stakeholders.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience with third-party cloud service providers.
Understanding of ITIL testing methodologies.
Previous exposure to systems and processes within organizations in the financial sector.
