To work as part of the McLaren Automotive Development Team currently based at the McLaren Technology Centre. This hands-on role encompasses the definition and execution of tests using the departments factory-based test rigs. What You'll Do

To plan and select the equipment to perform the testing required. Work with other Engineers and technicians on the best approach to achieve the testing outcome. To maintain accurate records of test set-up and recorded data. Define and execute Rig tests, fatigue tests, prototype component tests and material tests. Schedule and balance conflicting workloads and demands across multiple vehicle projects. Test data safety (backup, synchronisation, sharing etc), software updates and configuration. What You'll Bring

Must be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of servo-hydraulic actuators and their control. Able to demonstrate extensive experience of operating hydraulic actuators within the test and development arena. Knowledge and use of MTS equipment and control software an advantage. Capability to develop and create tests on new technologies where no test standard currently exists. Be able to apply detailed technical knowledge to the understanding of new technologies, development of engineering designs and resolution of engineering problems. An understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems. IT literate and highly competent in the use of multiple packages and platforms. Who Are We?
