Testing & Commissioning Engineer

within the

Quality & Assurance Team . This role will be based on site in

Coleshill . This roles purpose is to ensure that all Testing and Commissioning activities are effectively executed to achieve project objectives and control T&C and project related risks. Manage the development, preparation, execution and reporting of all projects specific Commissioning management activities. Role Responsibilities Implement the BBV MEP T&C Strategy and maintain the BBV Testing and Commissioning and Operation and Maintenance Plans, on a risk-based approach comprising operation and maintenance documents, as-built records, schedule of assets, manuals, and other information for the purposes of testing, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and handover of the works Elaborate the Commissioning Management and Operation and Maintenance Strategies Manage the preparation of Commission ability reviews to identify potential design issues Overseeing commissioning of MEP and Structural Health Monitoring Coordination with subcontractors/suppliers to prepare Method Statements and testing procedures for T&C Schedule of all Testing & Commissioning activities (MEP and special systems) Experienced required Relevant experience in the management of Testing and Commissioning on major projects with minimum CSA Grade 5 preferred. Knowledge in testing, installation, testing and commission Able to build and lead project team; anticipation of problems and taking timely preventive action. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel, as members of the TransManche Link consortium. In the Midlands, it is Balfour Beatty VINCI’s role to design and build the route, ready for tracks and signalling to be installed. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
