Weighbridge Operator / Transport Planner
based at our head office in Ellesmere, Shropshire. Your responsibilities will include: Accurately record all incoming transactions through the weighbridge system. Assist customers with the correct documentation of transactions when collecting aggregates. Conduct public weighing services as required. Coordinate and plan daily transport movements for the company’s fleet. Liaise with satellite plants to monitor aggregate stock levels and organise deliveries accordingly. Support the management team in ensuring statutory compliance, customer care, and technical aspects relating to the waste received and deliveries scheduled. Learn other systems, such as those related to the Skip Division, to provide cover when necessary. Skills / Experience: Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer literate. Highly organised with the ability to meet targets and produce timely reports. Experience or familiarity with transport scheduling, the waste industry, and aggregates is beneficial. Understanding of operational responsibilities and environmental legislation is advantageous. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is preferred. Hours of work:
Monday-Friday, 6.30am-5pm, with occasional overtime. We are offering
