Deputy Nursery Manager required, full time (30 hours per week), 9:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. Salary: £22,000-£23,000 pro rata. Start Date: January 2025.
The Family Haven is a registered charity, providing a day centre for parents and children who are socially isolated and in need of extra support. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Nursery Deputy practitioner to join our small, friendly team.
We require an Early Years Level 3 as a minimum qualification to join the team, with 2 years of management experience post-qualification. A good understanding of safeguarding, child protection, EYFS, and wellbeing is essential.
This special role will include working with children to provide high-quality care and education, working closely with a small team to support you, and working in partnership with our parents, most of whom stay on site. You will support each key person with their children, take responsibility in the absence of the manager when required, and support and maintain daily routines.
