Location: Victoria, London SW1 The Not Forgotten (TNF) enriches the lives of injured service personnel. We provide entertainment and recreational activities for a broad demographic of wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans from the Tri-Service and Merchant Navy community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the charity/fundraising sector, looking to progress and develop a career focusing on community and individual giving activity. You should want to use and grow your knowledge and aim to achieve excellent standards of fundraising through relationship building. You will be passionate about continuous improvement, have a proactive attitude and be comfortable in suggesting new and/or better ways of working. You will enjoy a challenging and fulfilling environment, working with a supportive and forward-thinking team. You will have experience of planning and implementing projects and in providing high levels of stewardship with the beneficiary firmly at the heart of everything we do. TNF are looking for an individual community fundraising expert, people-centric communicator, exceptional team player and used to managing the end-to-end fundraising events and activities. With the ability to research, identify and reach potential new supporter groups within the community. Contracted to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, possible infrequent evening or weekend work required to meet the needs of the charity. Pension (after probation). In return for this we are looking for someone who will: Objective:

To implement and drive a regional fundraising campaign, enhancing the charity’s regional support base and integrating efforts across various business functions. Key Responsibilities: Regional Fundraising Campaign:

Maximise regional support by ensuring the base is well-informed, included, and mobilised. Integration with Business Functions:

Collaborate with Business Operations, Communications & Engagement, and Event/Program Delivery teams to align fundraising efforts. Website and Online Proposition:

Support improvements to the website and online presence to boost regional engagement and fundraising capacity. CRM Enhancement:

Drive necessary improvements to the CRM (Donorfy) and related platforms and integrations to support regional fundraising goals. Automation and Engagement:

Enable automated enrolment, provide fundraising tools, and maintain ongoing engagement to enhance efficiency and drive compliance. Target Planning and Achievement:

Plan and achieve a year-on-year growth target of approximately £100k over a 3-year horizon. Skills and Attributes: Sector Knowledge: Understanding of the wider charity sector. Attitude: Robust, confident, and proactive ‘can do’ attitude, thriving on challenges and remaining calm under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills, including persuasion, diplomacy, networking, and ability to represent the charity effectively as well as negotiate with various stakeholders. Informing performance reporting through analysing and interpreting data (qualitative and quantitative), to measure the impact fundraising has on benefactors/beneficiaries and utilise information to effectively report to a variety of stakeholders. Develop clear fundraising tasks and delivery timescales, and ensure that there is progress against these, escalating issues where necessary. Develop an effective working relationship with all TNF staff to support them to meet delivery, reporting and budgeting deadlines and build a strong and collaborative network. Working to the Chief Executive. Hold a full UK driving Licence and have access to a road worthy vehicle with business insurance and ability to travel country wide. Represent the TNF at a variety of events, including Royal and prestige events. TNF are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all our beneficiaries, this includes developing, implementing, and maintaining effective recruitment policies and procedures to promote the safeguarding of these beneficiaries. Before commencing employment, the Head of Business Operations & Finance undertakes pre-employment checks on all applicants who have been offered a role with the Charity. These checks include an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will be renewed every 3 years, the right to live and work in the UK, as well as two satisfactory references. All staff will be required to complete training on Safeguarding Adults at Risk within their first week of employment. Applications will close at 6pm on Friday 6 December 2024.
