The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated Final Mile Van drivers to join the team. Hours: Shifts across Monday to Saturday (drivers must be able to work saturday) - starts from 7am-9am (8-10 hours max) Pay Rate: £11.50 per hour, rising to £12.00 per hour after 12 week. Location:Carlisle, CA6. Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: The role will either be collecting freight from the depots and sending out to area or collecting freight from DU and delivering in an area allocated to driver. (potential home delivery) Regular check ins with management. Using own mobile phones to scan the parcels. Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Manage time efficiently to ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled hours. Requirements: A valid UK driver's license with 1-year proven van experience. Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Must have own mobile data to scan the parcels Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
