Grinder/Linisher Day Shift - 39.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Competitive rates of pay with excellent overtime rate Established and well-respected company Excellent working environment We are looking for a Grinder/Linisher on a temporary to permanent basis or straight permanent basis for the right candidate. You will be responsible for operating grinding and linishing tools to smooth and shape metal to required specifications. The Job Operate grinding and linishing tools to smooth and shape metal surfaces to required specifications after welding. Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet company quality standards. Use hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal components. Apply knowledge of mechanical principles to identify and resolve machinery issues. Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce finished products. Utilise tooling and fixtures to securely hold workpieces during grinding and linishing processes. About You Prior experience operating grinding and linishing machinery is preferred. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measuring and cutting. Familiarity with tools used in metal fabrication, including hand and power tools. Welding experience would be an advantage. Ability to read engineering drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment. Experience working with sheet metal and similar materials is an advantage.
